My Recent Diagnosis of Chronic Hives.

As a child, I never really got sick. I remember having the flu once and a common cold a couple of times. The only time I really went to the doctor was when I was having a sports physical and my annual yearly once I reached the age of seventeen. I didn't miss school because I was raised in a very strict household, so whenever I had menstrual cramps, I was given pain meds and sent to school.

About six months ago, I was headed out to lunch with some coworkers to a local hotdog place that I had been to before. I got a classic chili and cheese dog with seasoned fries. On the way back to work, My eyes started to swell and hives spread across my nose, cheeks and forehead. Everyone and myself assumed, I must be allergy to something in the chili or the seasoning on the fries.

Breaking out in hives while at work.

After multiple breakouts that spread across my entire body and many doctor visits. I made an appointment to see an allergist. My allergist planned to performance an allergy test on me, but could not as long as I was taking antihistamines or breaking out in hives, which I was doing on a daily base. The doctor decided a blood test would be the best route. The only thing that showed up was dogs and cats(which I already knew) and wheat and sesame seeds.

At one point, I thought it was anxiety which can cause hives in extreme situations, but the doctors informed me that this had to be an allergic reaction to something or a situation of chronic hives.

This is the list of medications that I am currently on to prevent my hives from coming back.

Now, I only get very minor breakouts of hives which can usually be cured with taking about three beneadryls, and drinking a ice cold cup of water. Here is a recent picture:
